Site of the 6th NAFEW: The University of British Columbia

The University of British Columbia is one of the premier research organizations in the Pacific Northwest. UBC's Faculty of Forestry supports one of the most research-intensive forest programs in North America, with the largest graduate and undergraduates programs in Canada. The Faculty is committed to meeting future challenges in forestry through in-depth, cutting-edge research in conservation of natural resources, indigenous peoples' governance, sustainable forest management, fisheries, sustainable community design, energy planning, climate change, integrated assessment, and computer modeling and visualization.

The venue for NAFEW 2007 is the Instructional Resources Centre (IRC) located at 2194 Health Sciences Mall.
